Marmari is a beautiful, traditional village in south Evia where one can walk along the harbor admiring the yachts and fishing boats, try fresh fish and enjoy the sun setting into the sea of Southern Evoikos.
Hrisi Ammos is a beach with golden sand that reaches the sea, opposite the island of Petalioi, fifteen minutes from Karystos and just one hour by ferryboat from the port of Rafina.

It is only 60 minutes by ferryboat from the port of Rafina, Attica, 100 km from Halkida, 13 km from Karystos, 23 km from Styra, 87 km from Kymi and 91 km from Eretria.
In order to explore the beauties of the island, you can rent your car in Karystos, Marmari or Styra and choose between the two points of pick up, the Athens airport or Halkida.
